Join Laura for an evening of meditation. We will begin with the traditional fire meditation releasing, energizing and then transforming the way we visualize our life. Following the introduction we will be going for a walk in nature. Connecting with all that is and all that will be!
Being in the moment and letting go of all mental activity accomplishes more than you think. When it comes to meditating the goal is “No Goal”, being present and connecting internally. Attachment to outcome is something that comes from the Ego, although the ego is good and assists us to accomplish our goals. There are times that we need to shut down and just “Be”.
Following the walking mediation we will sit around the fire and connecting to earths energies. Feeling the vibration of Mother Earth and feeling her gentle energy waves below our feet, while relaxing and being drawn into the flames of the fire is rejuvenating. Everything in nature has a vibration, we will be taking some time to feel and interpret different items in nature, this will be a great time for you to share your feelings.
It great for you to take time in your busy schedules to do some “self-care”, once the stress and tension of everyday life is eliminated from the body, it can restore the vital energy. Balancing time to rest, time to play and time to work. This evening will be about celebrating, “You” on your journey of life and giving “Thanks” to your feet for carrying you on your journey. We will be sitting about the fire and soaking our feet in a sea salt foot bath.
There will be water and tea to drink. If you want something else, feel free to bring it with you. Chairs are available to sit on, bring a blanket to wrap you in or sit on. I provide all natural bug spray for anyone that wants to use it. Generally the walking meditation is done with bare feet; it’s your choice if you want to wear shoes.
